Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security Clearance Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of personnel security clearances and compliance. This role involves ensuring adherence to security protocols, managing clearance processes, and collaborating with internal teams to support our defense manufacturing projects.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain personnel security clearances in compliance with federal regulations.

  • Coordinate with government agencies to process and adjudicate security clearance applications.

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ITAR and other relevant standards.

  • Conduct security briefings and training for employees.

  • Monitor and report on security clearance statuses and potential issues.​

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in security clearance management or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of federal security clearance processes and regulations.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • U.S. Citizenship required for ITAR compliance.​U.S. Department of State

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with security clearance software and tools.

  • Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Industrial Security Professional (ISP).

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.​
