Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lobbyist to lead our government affairs initiatives. This role involves engaging with federal and state legislators, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders to advocate for policies and regulations that support our defense manufacturing operations.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute lobbying strategies to influence legislation and regulations pertinent to defense manufacturing.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.

  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments at both federal and state levels.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align lobbying efforts with company objectives.

  • Prepare policy briefs, testimony, and other materials to support advocacy efforts.

  • Ensure compliance with all lobbying laws and reporting requirements.​

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or lobbying.

  • Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • U.S. Citizenship required for ITAR compliance.​

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MPA, or related field).

  • Experience in defense or aerospace sectors.

  • Established network of contacts within relevant government agencies and legislative bodies.

  • Proficiency in preparing and delivering policy analyses and advocacy materials.​
