Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design and development team. This role focuses on the electrical architecture, wiring systems, onboard power management, and mission-critical electronics integration across land, sea, and modular platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement electrical systems for tactical vehicles, armored watercraft, and defense-grade infrastructure

  • Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and system-level integration plans

  • Integrate communications, sensors, navigation, and control systems into vehicle platforms

  • Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure platform-wide compatibility and performance

  • Test and troubleshoot low- and high-voltage systems, battery packs, inverters, and redundant power systems

  • Ensure designs comply with MIL-STD, IPC, and ITAR regulations and documentation standards

  • Support field testing, commissioning, and configuration of production platforms

  • Interface with suppliers and OEM partners to source and qualify components

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in vehicle or systems-level electrical design (defense or marine preferred)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, or similar ECAD tools

  • Experience with CAN bus systems, radio integration, GPS, and telemetry wiring

  • Understanding of EMI shielding, waterproofing, and ruggedization techniques

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for ITAR-regulated programs)

  • Ability to read, interpret, and generate electrical schematics and block diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, or unmanned platforms

  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461, or NATO standards

  • Hands-on experience with hybrid-electric powertrains or energy storage systems

  • Proficiency in Python or C for embedded control integration

  • Experience with system safety certification and functional redundancy planning
